Summary
The Winchesters, Castiel, and Jack discover the Men of Letters hid away a weapon that may be able to kill Michael. The only problem: it can only be used with John Winchester's blood. When Rowena performs a spell to temporarily bring John back, Dean runs into another problem. His father doesn't approve of his angel, and Castiel isn't too impressed with John either.

"Quickly feeling jealous of a moment he didn’t get to share with Cas, one that they have established as theirs in their routine of getting ready for bed (brushing their teeth together) and waking up together (coffee, trimming their beards, putting balm on it). Dean is jealous of the distance that exists between Cas and him. Of the little meter Cas has respectfully put in between them. He wants to cross it just to taste all of it again. The matching Kid’s shampoo on Castiel’s hair. The coconut lotion he lathers on his skin. For some reason he prefers the products that are softer on his skin. Getting used to being human, he imagines. It works, Cas is so soft. Dean could melt against him.
Cas smashes the cigarette against the soil. Once it’s not burning, he puts it in his pocket. He’s that kind of guy. To burn off his own lungs without letting the rest of the world burn. He’s in love with humanity."
Dean begs Jack to bring him Castiel back. He doesn't answer. After months of alcoholised laments, the brothers find a spell. Cas is back. Well, he sleeps for a long time. Six months. But he's back. The last thing he said to Dean was "I love you." What are they supposed to do, now?
And where the fuck is God?

Summary
The dungeon is cold, in his ears there is a ringing, and fear drips into him as he tries to catch his breathe. Cas is speaking and the words don't make sense, this can't be it. Not like this.
Dean's not worth it. He knows it.
His worth is not equal to an angel's love, not equal to this angel's death.
It has to be stopped; he can't let the Empty take Cas. So he does the only thing he know how to do.
He breaks it.

Summary
The media goes into a frenzy when A-list actor Dean Winchester's soulmark is captured in a paparazzi photo—especially since he recently started dating co-star, Lisa Braeden.
Hundreds of miles away at college, Castiel Novak recognizes Dean's mark as his own. However, he doesn't feel motivated to do anything about it when Dean's quotes to the press make it clear he doesn't believe in destiny and that he's happy with his current relationship.
And yet, in spite of repeatedly telling his cousin Gabriel that he and Dean live in two different worlds that aren't meant to collide, the book he is publishing behind his mother's back becomes surprisingly successful. Summary
Cas swallows again, selfishly holding a bit tighter around the hunter as he mumbles, “I’m just worried about Jack,”.
Lie, Dean detects immediately. He can tell that it’s a lie. He just came in and found Cas crying with the page about himself—that Dean earnestly wrote—in the Bestiary open on the table; what the hell would Jack have to do with that?
Dean next speaks with a gentle suspicion in his voice, sounding not like he’s accusing the angel but instead like he’s opening the floor for him to tell the truth without judgment. “That’s all?” he says softly, voice comforting and familiar by Cas’s ear.
“...Yeah,” Cas says, lying again.
(TLDR: Cas dealing with his secret of the Empty deal, until he can't anymore. Lots of angsty hurt/comfort, tears, feels, and softness.)
