Summary
Bokuto Koutarou has always believed that everything Akaashi Keiji touches becomes beautiful.
So when Akaashi begins writing poetry, Bokuto can't help but admire it. The words are breathtaking—full of affection, longing, and love. Until he realizes none of them are written for him.
What begins as a few suspicious poems slowly unfolds into something far more painful. Through stolen glances, shared laughter, quiet moments, and undeniable intimacy, Bokuto watches the person he loves fall in love with someone else. Yet instead of turning away, he views every discovery as a different form of art: poetry, music, photography, painting, and sculpture.
As the walls of their shared apartment become a gallery of heartbreak, Bokuto remains both witness and victim to a love story that no longer belongs to him.
Years later, after transforming his grief into a celebrated art exhibition, Bokuto finally comes face-to-face with the past that shaped his work. Standing among photographs, paintings, and a fractured sculpture built from loss, he is forced to confront the question that has followed him for years:
Can something that broke you still be beautiful?
