Yellow, blinding light.
That’s all the St. Cassian Chamber saw after the competition had ended. After Ocean had cast her vote and Jane Doe had been revived. They didn’t know what their futures would hold. Perhaps they were going onto the afterlife, or simply fading into the obscurity of time. Did it even matter at this point?
Then, without warning, they were back on the roller coaster, approaching the apex of the loop. Sounds of screeching metal, screaming, sparks flying, and the rickety wooden track filled the air once more, just as it had at 6:19 earlier that night.
Then… weightlessness.

Summary
Every year, the senior class at St. Cassian goes on a field trip. However, after Mischa's adoptive parents and Ocean's parents don't sign their permission slips (both for different reasons), they have to spend an entire week alone together, not just in school, but out of school as well after the weather prevents Ocean from walking back to her house, forcing her to sleep over at Mischa's. Witness this train wreck as Ocean O'Connell-Rosenberg and Mischa Bachinski are forced to spend time together for a whole five days until the rest of the choir comes back.
