Growing up can be tough; puberty, grades, bad breath, and mandatory gym class can really bring a kid down. Add being the Trollhunter and the Trollhunter's best friend on top of that and life can get pretty hectic. But Jim and Toby are ready for anything. There's no problem in the world that they can't solve together. That is unless the problem is each other. Or more accurately how they feel about each other. They are totally not falling for each other, absolutely not.

When Jim beat Gunmar he earned a little trophy that would follow him through hell and back. Or rather, through time and reality. It just happens to be that said trophy is one big bloodthirsty diva of a sword. Well, it's better than nothing now that Daylight has moved on, right? “Holy shit.” he breathes. “Holy shit. Mordrax’s Miracles, this is -this is!” he laughs, delighted about something for the first time in months.
A completely intact Time Stone, right here, with the only person on the continent who knew how to use it (and probably the only person still alive who could).
He takes it into his hands reverently, a dying man who has been given an answer to his prayers, a way to change his inescapable ending. A way to change everyone's endings.
Or: In a world where everything goes wrong, Douxie is the one to go back in time instead.
