Summary
It’s been nine long years since the war for the Holy Land ended. Nine years since Eris took on the role of Goddess to protect all of humanity. Since then, Nowe has taken on the role of her protector as the new General of the Knights of the Seal, to help ease the burden resting on her shoulders. But despite all his efforts, the Goddess’s life is slowly coming to an end, leaving her to silently suffer in agony from the powerful magic cast upon her.
It’s at this moment, as Nowe laments over his inability to do more for his friend, that Seere speaks of a rumour he heard of on the road; of a panacea that can heal any and all wounds. While Seere dismisses it as mere gossip and exaggeration, Nowe is prepared to do all it takes to ease his friend’s suffering.
However, he has no idea of the events his decision has just set into motion… or the fate that has been placed upon him…
