Summary
After spending most of winter break together, Hinata's feelings towards Kageyama have become warm and confusing. He can't get him off his mind, and he finds himself missing Kageyama whenever they're apart. When school begins again, Hinata is excited to see him most of all, only to be met with a Kageyama that is weird, quiet and distant.
Hinata worries that the worst has happened: Kageyama has noticed his pining, and now their friendship is on the line.

Katsuki sniffs and shrugs in an insouciant fashion. “I guess,” he mutters. He looks ashamed. Izuku feels his throat tighten with heartache for him.
Izuku squeezes his hand in comfort. “I’m here,” is all he says as he begins walking down the sidewalk again, Katsuki in tow.Katsuki's quirk is loud. Very loud. His repeated, close exposure to the high decibel output has done a number on his hearing. Izuku notices, as he notices most things when it comes to Katsuki.
Izuku views it just as a change, Katsuki views it as a flaw.
But, Izuku has altered Katsuki's perspective before. He can do it again.
