“It’s really quite simple,” she assures Yuki, who stays fixed by her side. “You start with a snowball,” mimicking one in mittened hands, “and you’ll keep packing it until it’s big enough to roll on the ground. You’ll want to make sure you start a little further away, though, that way yours ends up wherever Amada-kun’s is.” She smiles. “I’m sure he would want them together.”
“Right,” Yuki says, almost absentmindedly. It strikes Fuuka as odd, but before she can even think of how to address it, Yuki seems to remember himself and he smiles a bit. “Thanks, Fuuka.”

“You’re welcome to say whatever’s on your mind, Yamagishi.” Akihiko keeps his gaze on the girl as he leans forward for good measure, assuring his body language remains open and inviting—both primary examples of active listening.
“I know.” Yamagishi rewards his reassurance with a small smile. She takes another moment to gather her thoughts before her posture straightens. “I was wondering… Sanada-senpai, would you be willing to teach me how to fight?”
