On the whole, Shane loved a good spa.
He wasn’t afraid to admit it, either. For all that the other Metros teased him about his pristine, porcelain skin in a locker room of grizzly bears who thought SPF was a kind of crypto, he knew that brands liked a guy who actually took care of himself.
Just enough time between All-Star games this weekend for a spa day! Shane can’t wait to get a facial.Unfortunately for Shane, Ilya can’t wait to give him one.

Ilya feels mildly stupid. He knew, obviously, that they speak French in Canada, but he didn’t know it was, like— some people’s only language. He’d sort of assumed everyone was fluent in both.
"Huh. Cool."
"Your English is very good," Hollander offers.
Ilya laughs.
"I mean, yeah— I grew up in Minneapolis."
