Summary
It all started with a call from his Commission assigned Handler, who he simply knew as Asumi. A month after announcing his plans to start his very own hero agency.
Hawks always disliked speaking to the woman. A conversation with her always left him feeling uneasy; her moods often depended on how good he was doing at the time, whether it be in the polls or the public eye.
She had told him that the Commission had a “special assignment” for him, and while it wouldn't be the first “special assignment” he had been sent on. The vague explanation he was given over the phone had intrigued him.

Summary

For Dunk, the return to Storm’s End should have marked the end of a successful raid. Instead of silver, he is saddled with a new thrall. The sharp-tongued, stubborn silver-haired prince proves to be far more trouble than he’s worth. Though Raymun keeps telling him to ‘think of the ransom’.
On a night of the week long celebration feast, far from anything familiar, Aerion finds himself cornered by dangers he cannot fight alone. Pride would have him stand unyielding for a prince never bows. But in this foreign land, he is forced to rely on the one man who now owns him.

Valarr agrees to share a house with his cousin Aerion because their fathers think one of them needs independence and the other needs supervision.
Instead, Valarr gets Aerion in his clothes, in his bed, under his skin and increasingly determined to prove that Valarr wants him there.
By December, neither of them is pretending very well.

Summary
After Ashford, the royal family fed up with Aerion’s vicious behavior, silence him and exile him to Essos.
For two months, everyone assumes Aerion is simply evading family oversight. In reality, he has been captured, enslaved, and forced into being a breeder Volantis. He endures this for years until he is physically ruined, rendered barren, and dies tragically alone, broken in mind, believing his family hates him enough to have wished this fate upon him.
Unbeknownst to Aerion, his father Maekar had blindly believed his son was fine until receiving a report of Aerion’s horrific, prolonged death. Maekar is utterly devastated, blaming himself entirely.
