A 1910s Russia AU. Ilya is a young Russian peasant skilled in woodworking, and Shane is a postgraduate student researching Russian folk narratives. In the summer of 1912, both are just 24 years old. Shane arrives in a village on the western outskirts of Moscow Governorate to collect research materials, and that is where the two meet.
In Russian mythology, on summer nights bathed in moonlight, Rusalka emerge from the riverbed to dance on the grassy banks, singing enchanting songs to lure passing young men.
OR: What would happen if, at the time of their first meeting, Shane was the one with more sexual experience?

Connor can’t believe his luck when he’s cast to play hockey legend Ilya Rosanov in the biopic movie of his relationship with Shane Hollander and their impact on the world of hockey. Quickly becoming best friends with his co-star, Connor goes with Hudson, the producer, and the writer to meet the couple in person and try and get some inspiration for the film. They get significantly more than they bargained for.

They then ask Shane to move his fingers and lift his arms. He does both no problem and the medics tell him good job. The medic takes off Shane’s skates. They ask him to wiggle his toes.
Nothing happens.
A play on a line from Heated Rivalry following Shane's injury “Oh god what if I’m not ok? What if I never walk again." A story of loss, growth, and love.

Summary
This is, by far, the weirdest concussion-fever-dream Shane has ever had. Especially considering the fact that he doesn’t have a concussion – he hasn’t taken a hit, or collapsed, or done anything that would result in head trauma in the last few months, as far as he knows. But clearly, he has to be misremembering, because there is no way this can be real.
In which Shane Hollander gets turned every which way by four versions of Ilya Rozanov at once.
