Summary
The last time she witnessed Seth this languid was immediately after they had departed this very room and he had received his blow from Valter. The sight of Seth like this opens her heart to that same brittle ache, and she worries that, if she were to move any quicker, it would shatter her.
Seth and Eirika relinquish themselves to a moment of emotional weakness after the events of Chapter 17. Basically I just wanted to write Seth crying because he deserves a good cry after everything. Title comes from a line from Fear by Current Joys, which I listened to while writing this piece.

Mikleo felt the overwhelming need to speak, to fill these silent moments with words so that he could halt his inner monologue, even for a moment. “Honestly,” he started, a teasing edge dripping into his tone, “you'd think after so many years asleep, you’d be easier to get out of bed,”
And just like that, the pin dropped. A shift in the mood - slight, but still very much tangible – passed between them. While it wasn’t his intention to draw attention to their situation, Mikleo had inadvertently started a conversation he truly did not wish to have.

Summary
The role of a king came with certain expectations. For starters, they were to be very calculated. To Lancelot, Sonic seemed all too impulsive. Second, Kings were so supposed to be very formal. This Sonic was none of the sort. Kings were usually very distant from their people, but Sonic was all too willing to talk to anyone and everyone. This called into question his abilities in the role, but Lancelot should know better by now not to judge a book by its overly enthusiastic cover.

Summary
Alear is an Emblem. Therefore, Alear can engage with people. At some point, Alfred is going to have to engage with Alear.
No biggie. Nope. Not at all. Except for the fact that Alfred kinda sorta knows Ike from the inside out whenever they’re engaged. Things like his hopes and dreams. Things like if he’s ever lied to Alfred. Things like how he feels about Alfred. And Ike gets to know all the same about Alfred, surely.
And that’s all well and good. Except for the part where Alfred might be a little (a lottle) in love with Alear and lies to him every day about it. So, actually, it's not well and good at all.
