Summary
There's a clear plastic container on the kitchen table. Eddie sets the bag down warily on the counter, approaches it warily, as if it's a live grenade. Which is prescient, he realizes a moment later.
It is, as the message suggested, a cake. A small one, sized so that a person could eat it in a single sitting if they were feeling greedy and indulgent. Chocolate layers, topped with a silky-looking ganache; Buck even sprinkled little curls of white chocolate around the edges for decoration. Lettering piped in bright red frosting, uneven but perfectly legible, reads, DON'T IGNORE ME, I SUCKED YOUR DICK.

Summary
Tommy has a lot of old sweatshirts and t-shirts from fundraisers, events, and concerts. Buck grabs them indiscriminately, because they're all his size and they basically mix their laundry together now. Sometimes it means someone will try to strike up a conversation about a band Buck doesn't listen to or they'll ask him about car shows or the location of an event or whatever.
He doesn't mind, though, because he gets to say, “Oh, this is actually my boyfriend's shirt.”

There's a long pause and then a soft curse. “Fuck, I'm so sorry, I, uh, think my phone picked something up and called you. I didn't mean to wake you up.”
