Realizing he's stuck in a time loop. He does everything to make sure Ray lives.

What he had not been expecting was that it would be far from the last time Hiyori would save him.
Yato had never imagined meeting someone like Hiyori, let alone that the kindest and bravest person he'd ever met would want to stay by his side and protect him.
