Summary
Twenty-year-old Amelia Smith is heavily pregnant when the dead start walking. Torn between attempting to travel up to her beloved aunt and uncle’s home in Virginia or riding things out in Georgia alone, she eventually chooses Virginia.
She’s all set to head up to her Uncle Negan and Aunt Lucille’s house, when something in her gut tells her that trying to make it to Virginia will lead to her and her baby’s death.
So she lets her neighbor Glenn jump into her car and take her to a quarry outside of Atlanta he thinks might be safe.

Summary
Katniss would’ve never thought that she might make money out of her voice, the idea of anyone in Twelve paying for something as unnecessary as a song seems ridiculous but as it turns out, music is something everyone needs a little of.
With her dad’s old guitar, a few dusty dresses that apparently belonged to some of his cousins and aunts and the songs seared into her memory, Katniss starts unknowingly stepping into the shoes of long forgotten performers and singers whilst also constantly running into her Boy with the Bread making cake deliveries and awakening something in her.
Her discovery of her Covey heritage also gets her involved with the Revolution, becoming a voice for the people of all Districts… and the ghosts Snow thought long buried.

Summary
Katniss is chosen as the female Tribute in the 70th Hunger Games, at the age of twelve. When she survives, Snow decides, instead of selling her, he'll keep her innocence and use her as a symbol of peace. The one to keep her in line. Finnick Odair, his favorite toy. How foolish of Snow not to realize her fire would be catching. Haymitch wants to turn her into his little rebel, her mother wants to turn her back into her child, Finnick wants to keep her safe and pure, and Katniss has to find her own way. Katniss will make her own way. She will have to grow up quick if she wants to keep up. Lives are at stake, so she'll ignite a rebellion, just an innocent rebellion.
