Summary
Jaster publishes the Supercommando Codex then vanishes on a job for a year, not expecting anything to come of it. He picks up an interesting trinket on the job and returns to chaos in the Mandalore Sector.
Jocasta was livid. Nisa Gallia was not one of her archivists, but she certainly should have known better than to send an uncatalogued artifact off with some random Mandalorian!

Summary
The purgills nosed curiously at the large metal-flyer. They trusted their instincts which led them safely through their migrations. Now those same instincts led them here to this out of the way system at the edge of the galaxy, far from their usual routes teeming with metal-flyers, was only the one, nearly drifting as if asleep.
Perhaps it had lost its pod?
Yes, that must be why their pod was led here. They would guide this grieving metal-flyer to others of it's kind so it need not be alone.
Communicating mind-to-mind through the black the pod scattered around the metal-flyer. Their strange rescue was large but the pod was many and they allowed their instincts to dictate their formation.
The purgills picked up speed and as the distant stars streaked blue around them the metal-flyer was swept in their wake.

“I want to watch the sun rise.” Ben muttered, “It reminds me that even as the dark sets in, the light will come back around eventually. It always does. It has become hard to remember that recently.”
The answer left Jaster speechless.
Ben sounded wounded– hurt in a way which would not heal with time alone. He looked like a tired Verd, a battle-weary warrior. Jaster had seen the look before. Many Verde wore it. The glint of deeply rooted pain sparked in Ben’s eyes too.
Instead of asking more, Jaster turned his head to watch the sunrise along with Ben.
It was peaceful.
The dawn of a new day.

1/4 cup worldbuilding, linguistics degree flavor
1/2 cup worldbuilding, social media flavor
20oz package pro-Jedi sentiments
6 pro-clone trooper sentiments, freerange cult-informed take on the GAR, separated
1 1/2 cup pro-Mandalorian sentiments, violently anti-woobification
2 cups neurodivergence
3 cups homebrew Force traditions
1/2 cup inspiration by other fantastic authors
4 Tbsp banter
3 tsp cover art by the author
Cherrypicked canon/legends/fanon details, to taste.Sift together.
Boil 3 cups shameless self-indulgence and whisk vigorously. Add dry wit mixture, let rest approximately a week for every chapter.
Bake for T-minus 44 standard years, 53 if measuring with ABY system.
Serve with homemade memes on the side.
