Summary
The Winter Soldier tipped water out of his boots and stripped the socks off his pruning feet as he waited to be collected. Engaging on an aircraft while it nosedived into a river hadn't been ideal, but the mission had been accomplished, if messy. He had exceeded parameters--there were several secondary targets left alive, and they could identify him--but Captain America was dead. HYDRA would consider it a conditional success and rendezvous with him here within the next few hours.
Except Captain America wasn't dead. The Soldier had pulled him out of the water onto the shore and had made sure he would live before he had walked away.
His thoughts bottlenecked, stuck behind that one crimp in the plan, and his world tilted like it had on the Helicarrier.
He hadn't killed Captain America. He rebuilt what he knew around that.

Summary
Considering the amount of death his hands deal on a daily basis, Matt never expected them to be used on him with such reverence and care. AKA 5 times Frank is gentle towards Matt before they put a title on their relationship.
Basically I saw a fic where Frank was abusive and got kind of upset so I used the spite it gave me (no hate to the author, write what you want) to break my no writing streak of two years to churn this out.
And honestly, if you could see my bookmarks you'd know I love the rough stuff, but I am a firm believer in Frank being someone who treats his significant other with the utmost care. I also believe Matt has never experienced care like that and wish to break him by giving it to him.- Language:

There was a beat of silence. Paz chuckled deep in his chest and looked down the hall, off into the shadows that failed to give way to the glow bleeding off the forge to their backs. “So uptight, Djarin. You’re wound up. Distrusting your brother in arms.”
“And?” Every word coming from Paz threatened to wind him tighter. His hands curled into fists on his knees, his muscles protesting the sudden bunching. He’d been on too many jobs, not enough rest in between.
Paz swiveled his head around, smoothly bringing his attention back to Din and Din alone. “You need an outlet.” He held out a hand expectantly. “Come. Let me give you one.”

Din swallowed nervously but remained as stoic as the cold gleam of his beskar. “…Yes.”
“How will you atone?” Paz questioned.
Din made a noise of confusion. “The mines-“
“No.” Paz said. “I mean to me. How will you atone to me?”
OR
The fight for the darksaber and the admission of his sin left Din battered and heartbroken. Paz, on the other hand, wanted to know who the kriff got to see Din’s face before he did.
