So when a hand suddenly grabs his waist and pulls him back against a firm chest, he nearly jumps.
“What th—”
“So it’s you who has been putting these stickers all over my car.”
Minho’s eyes widen, his breath catching. He glances over his shoulder and bites his lip when he finds Chan’s face only centimeters away.

Chan gripped the straps of his backpack tightly. His knuckles turning white under the strain, the rough fabric digging painfully into his palms as he anchored his arms against his chest. Every instinct in his body, honed by months of this recurring nightmare, screamed at him to move.
He took one deep, shuddering breath, filling his lungs with the biting cold air, and braced his weight on the balls of his feet.
