Fueled by a mix of rage and sadness, he was focused on his plan for revenge and determined not to get close to anyone else, fearing he might end up putting them in danger.
Out of nowhere, he spotted a little girl, maybe four years old, with long loose curly hair and big, golden eyes, staring at him with a look of pure admiration.
With a cheeky grin on her face, she sprinted towards him, shouting "Daddy!" as she wrapped her arms around his legs.
Klein couldn't help but think that his day was taking a strange turn.
