Summary
The militia of Oakhurst has done it! They've cut off the head of the beast by curing the head of the coven: the cruel and unforgiving Scott Goldsmith.
But, as the militia (and Pearl) learns of the mysterious group camping out just outside of the Oakhurst border, they realize just how many lies they've been fed, by Scott, by each other, by other townspeople, and by their families.
Now, they must navigate secrets, magic, family drama, a weird magic illness threatening the town, and a new challenger filling the power vacuum caused by Scott's disappearance, any of which may end up being their undoing.

His eyes caught on a flash of blue, and he paused.
Jimmy watched as a man who looked to be about his age or maybe a little older climbed the steps onto the stage at the front of the room. He was really pretty, from what Jimmy could see across the room, with smooth pale skin, a fashionable denim jacket and styled cyan hair. Jimmy was by no means an expert on fashion or clothes or anything, but the man looked impressive with how his outfit worked really well even to an untrained eye.
Jimmy entertained himself for a minute to watch this random guy get set up, and admired from afar how stupidly hot he was even from a distance. He looked pretty smiley, confident for being on the stage all on his own, without any friends or anyone to accompany him. He held the microphone in a steady hand, and glanced to the side as he waited for the music to start, some cheesy pop song Jimmy vaguely knew.
Then he started singing.
Jimmy’s jaw dropped to the floor.

Jimmy and Scott meet on a late night at a karaoke bar, and Jimmy stumbles through interacting with this unfairly pretty man who just seems too perfect to be real...
