Summary
The Second Wizarding War is over, but the cult of Fenrir Greyback is more rampant than ever. Nymphadora Tonks is ripped from her home in the night, with her infant son, and disappeared by members of the pack who wish to enact revenge against Remus Lupin for being a traitor to their cause.
Five years later, Tonks and Teddy are scrapping a life together in a tiny cabin in the wilderness as Greyback hands over bitten children to Tonks to care for in exchange for their survival. Believed to be dead, the Ministry's search has since subsided.
But Teddy's fifth birthday is soon, and his mother is painfully aware that it is a deadline: Greyback likely has unspoken plans to bite Teddy and dispose of Tonks altogether... unless she can orchestrate an escape. But what kind of a life is waiting for them on the outside? What if everyone moved on? What if they were forgotten altogether? How can Teddy possibly adjust to a world he’s only seen in books?
