Summary

Summary

With the severity of this attack, we’re following protocol down to the smallest detail: you’ll be placed in a safe residence, and one of them will remain with you at all times, whether it be an errand, social call, or working on any floor in the Department of Mysteries.
Memories, too many memories, with Draco and Theo flooded her as the depths of this assignment sunk in, as the reality and proximity sunk in, only dragging her further beneath the surface. She was suffocating underneath it all: everything she had once shared with her dearest friends, every feeling she never should have felt for said friends, every reason she had left them- and nearly everyone else in her life- behind when she moved away from England two years ago.
“Hermione?” Kingsley insisted, eyeing her. “Will that be a problem?”
