OR Shane and Ilya Hollander-Rozanov are a lot of things, including bitchy gays. As they put up with less bullshit in married life, their petty side shows more. Never come between a professional ragebaiter and his bitch wife.

Summary
Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander are finally retired, but it isn't anything like Ilya expects. Not only is he having to adjust to his new routine, but he starts to notice that his bad days aren't quite as...dark. He's convincing himself that all of those bad days were related to the unyielding demand of hockey. When he first starts flushing his pills down the toilet, he notices that his bad days seem to disappear all together.
But a single sentence out of Shane's mouth undoes all of that. He's suddenly worse than he's ever been, and he doesn't know whether or not he's ever made the right decision about anything, including Shane. He resents his mom for ever giving him these demons to deal with alone. Well...not completely alone. But if it was up to him, Ilya Rozanov would no longer be a part of Shane's life.

People often mistook Shane as unemotional or unexpressive. These people were wrong. Shane wore every thought on his face, if you were paying attention. Ilya had been paying attention to every muscle twitch for five years. He was fluent in Shane Hollander’s microexpressions. The widening of his eyes when something delighted him. The flaring of his nostrils when he was annoyed. The tightening of his jaw when he was nervous.
Right now, Ilya couldn’t identify a single god-forsaken emotion on Shane’s face.
“Are you okay?” Ilya’s voice cracked.
Shane didn’t react. “Never better. Is that all?”
