Summary
Kaveh finally gets to visit his mother all the way in Fontaine, after many years of promises. He leaves the house as usual, bantering and bickering with Alhaitham, completely unaware of the uneasy feelings that the Scribe is being left with, as he realizes that his home is now empty.
He tries his best to fill the void immediately, but one question rings in his mind:
What if... Kaveh doesn't want to come back home in the end?
