Summary
An accompanying work to "Show Me How You Fly" - a story where Shinichi has the ability to shift into the form of an unlucky raven, and accidentally befriends Kaito in the form of that raven.
This work is a small series of scenes that couldn't quite make the final cut of the original work, featuring some different POVs and what happened in between scenes from SMHYF. Mostly just tying up loose ends and gratuitous amounts of domestic bliss, complete with shameless flirting, awkward meetings with the future in-laws, best friend shovel talks, and learning how to fly, among other things.

Summary
The 141’s common room might be Soap’s favorite. It’s nothing fancy, a couple of ratty couches shoved into one corner, and a kitchenette in the other. Soap wouldn’t have it any other way, as it has something no other room on base has - his taskforce.
...Maybe there’s one thing he’d like to change about the common room, and perhaps in the 141 in general. And it all starts and ends with the masked bastard they call Ghost.

Soap enjoys working with his new squad, taskforce 141. He feels comfortable with Gaz and Price, yet he yearns to be closer to his Lieutenant, Ghost. He falls asleep imagining a world where their relationship was different.
He wakes up the next day to Ghost knocking on his door, acting friendlier than anyone has ever seen. Soap is happy, but a part of him can't help but worry...

"I am telling you, Soap, you would love him! Why can't you trust me on this?”
The problem was that Gaz`s new boyfriend seemingly had this super awesome, buff, handsome, tall, smart, long term single friend who would be totally his type. Who had a well paying job whose recent promotion came with a lot of free time and now he wanted to “meet someone nice” without having to sift through the dark underbelly of creeps and idiots on dating apps.
Gaz insisted that he was just the thing for Soap. Soap insisted that everyone had a "but" and for the life of him, Gaz wouldn't tell him what this Simon guys "but" was.
