Summary
The Old Palace Master pushes too far and gets caught in a lie during Shen Qingqiu's farce of a trial. To save his shixiong, Mu Qingfang reveals a secret about Shen Qingqiu that was never meant to see the light of day. Everything spirals out of control after that.
“Traitor!” Shen Qingqiu hisses at Shang-shidi and tries to pull Yue Qingyuan away.
“No, Shen-shixiong.” For possibly the first time ever, Shang Qinghua stands straight-backed and unshakeable. “I could have been one, but when it came down to choosing between you and him,-” He glances down at the headless body of Luo Binghe. “- I chose you. Don’t make me regret it.”
