Everyone who followed hero media (which was essentially everyone in Japan) knew about Kaminari Denki. Whether by name or by brief flashes of electricity both in the famous USJ Attack or the UA Sports Festival, you could recognize him. There wasn’t much to him. Yellow hair, big smile, an electricity quirk, positive attitude, and a good deal of air instead of brain in his head. Your average First Year Hero Student.
Mind you, UA is the top school in the country, both in education and students. They only take the best-of-the-best. Only strongest, smartest, and most valiant kids get in.
So how did such a static-for-brains get in? Surely the school wouldn’t let these kids in just because they can punch a robot… right?

The commission brought down his “family”, the people who trained him, hardened him, made him into what he is today, what he’s no longer allowed to be. He was twelve when the commission whisked him away, forced quirk suppressors down his throat, and gave him a choice. UA, or Tartarus. He chose the school, what else was he supposed to do?
Now, forced to hide who he was, forced on suppressors to keep his quirk at bay, and forced to wear a quirk restraint around his neck, this former child soldier, this former assassin, must navigate high school.

He's been faking it since he was five years old when his quirk first manifested, but has he been making it? That remains to be seen.
