Summary
We sing to Ar-Amu in joy
For freedom has been granted without freedom at the cost of death
The slave sings in their new found freedom
We pray to you Ar-Amu
That the child will keep
Theri strengths, persistence. Strength of heart. And cunning
Of the womp rat, kirik fly, bantha, anooba
We thank the Krayat dragon
Our sister for the heart of hope
Given through fearlessness and mightWe take this glass
Burned through Ar-Amu’s glare
We take this glass
And let is scar our body
For it is our own and we may burn
If but to take this glass
We share our freedomIf so willing, help others?
If so willing, guide others?
If so willing, wear with pride
If not willing, show others
If not willing, warn others
If not willing, hide from sight(aka a freeside ceremony that Luke conducts)

Summary
He was ISB-021, the very model of a perfect Imperial soldier, cold and calculating and remorseless in his hunt for any who challenged the Empire’s galactic order.
He was Alexsandr Kallus, just a man, and he wanted to thaw.
-
Kallus is cold in every sense of the word. After a frigid night on a remote, frozen moon, he realizes he just can’t justify his actions in the Empire anymore.Bookmarked by Galaxy_thoughts

Summary
In the aftermath of being tortured for talking too much, Jaskier can't bring himself to speak. Geralt sympathizes with the bard, after all there was a reason he was so taciturn himself. Questions were not so much encouraged at Kaer Morhen. And for a lot of his life he'd always figured that is how you train a boy or an animal: hit it when it doesn't do what you want. After all, that was how he ended up as good at monster slaying as he was. But when it actually came down to it, that wasn't how he trained Roach. And negative reinforcement implies, at least etymologically, the existence of an opposite.
