Summary
Prime Era: 2424. Earth's surface has become inhospitable due to a massive world war. Humanity has moved underground in bunker cities, fleeing the devastation and constant battles still being raged upon the surface, now through contract mercenaries known as "Ravens", via Mega Corporations. Using the advance war machina known as Armored Cores.
A Raven known as Reaver is offered a mission against Neo Eden that is trying to force the start of a Atmospheric Terra-former within a Demilitarized Zone. Learning that the Mercenary, "Ragnar" will be guarding the Terra-former, Reaver accepts without hesitation, allowing his personal grudge to get the better of him. He prepares to end Ragnar once and for all, no matter the cost.
This is the tale of Armored Core: Broken Talon.

Then eventually he comes into contact with an alien woman on the run. In dire need of getting off-world. She tries to persuade him, when a mysterious, samurai-like bounty hunter reveals himself.
