“Yes, of course.” Jude has to hand it to Erling, he’s never showed up ‘awkward’ a day in his life. On the contrary, he seems to thrive on it, proven as he smirks, as he adds, with no fucking preamble: “I named him ‘Jude.”’
There’s only one valid response to that; it comes to Jude like a message from God, or similar.
“You fucking what, mate?”
“What?” Erling’s grin, showing every one of his teeth, would be best described as ‘shit-eating.’ “You don’t think it suits him?”

Erling snorted a little laugh through his nose. “Several.”
“Who?” the question echoed in Jude’s mind, heavy, irresistible. “Someone I know? Someone we’ve played against? Someone on our team?”
And then, even worse, “Me?”
Jude finds out that Erling also likes men.
Tall, athletic men, with a perky, round ass. Which is fine, it's not like it changed who Erling was or their friendship, Jude didn't mind his best friend's sex life.
But, if that's his type, why has he never shown interest in Jude?
