Summary
Post Yhwach Battle Ichigo performs an illegal kido to save Grimmjow’s life. It was an old Hylian custom, one that Sidon barely half-remembered from before the Calamity had happened, of a Hylian pressing their mouth to the back of a person’s hand.
He remembered Mipha’s fond giggle as someone had done it to her in farewell, and the gesture seemed an appropriate way to honour Link as he departed to take on the next Divine Beast.
(Originally going to be 'Five times Sidon kissed Link, one time Link kissed back' but they're not very good at keeping track of kisses)

Here's the thing. Ghost hasn't thought with his dick, literally, in years- he hasn't thought about fucking anyone, not even in passing. He genuinely hadn't realized that Soap was hot for him. So it's such a fucking shock, how hard it hits him now. Soap, all that exuberant, combative attention, focused down on Ghost like the rest of the bar doesn't exist. And he likes Soap, he knew he did, and it's just a bit of a surprise to realize that yeah, he also really wants to fuck Soap.

Summary
An alternate first meeting, where Ghost and Soap meet each other in the field under infinitely worse circumstances than either of them would have liked:
Ghost wakes up in a pit under a building with a bomb attached to him, certain he's going to die. Soap, an EOD tech amongst his other specialties, is the only person available to at least try to save him. It should be fraught, and tense, and miserable all around, and it is; a whole lot of Ghost slowly losing his mind while Soap does everything he can to save his life. But it would probably be easier if Ghost wasn't a stress-flirter, and if Soap wasn't the kind of endlessly competent that he loved, and if, by virtue of their situation, they didn't keep ripping open each other's wounds and then patching each other back up again after.

Soap and Ghost meeting under different circumstances! Rather than ghost saving Soap by being wildly good at overwatch, Soap is saving Ghost from a saw-esqe bomb while being wildly competent. They have wonderful chemistry right from the start despite the stressful situation! Can’t wait to read the rest!
