Based off of JoeLawson’s Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea fic. Unfortunately you do have to read that one before this, as a lot of what’s happening here is explained there.

This is based off of the ideas in that fic, not a sequel and/or continuation, and was never meant to be read as such.
