Samuel Dalton was a complete fiction, of course, but that didn't mean that when Sam Reich snuck back upstairs to get tied up in the “out of order” bathroom, the Sam that remained on the monitor, laughing at the contestants, was a pre-recording. And if Brennan, Siobhan and Lou had snorted at the idea of a time-travelling evil magician great-grandfather (for good reason), going in with the actual truth of the matter would have sounded like jumping the shark.
It sounded bizarre, but the time travel bit was the only part about his new partner in crime that was confirmably real. Admittedly, the jury was still out on “evil”—he gave off a weird vibe at times, but so far, no lines had been crossed, and it had all been funny as hell—so for now, Sam was willing to roll with it. But perhaps most surprisingly, there wasn’t even the possibility of blood relation between Samuel Dalton Reich and the guy who had shown up out of the blue one day with his exact face and a plan to really fuck around with things on Game Changer.
Yeah, the whole alien thing had really ruled out that particular prospect.

“So, Rosie.” Alastor straightened himself in his seat, taking his teacup and indulging in a sip. “Now that you’ve heard the tale, I come to you for advice on what to do with our little serpentine king. Please, enlighten me: why is Lucifer Morningstar acting so strangely around me?”
Rosie took a deep breath and set her cup on its saucer. “How’s the tea, darling?” she asked, hands folded on her lap.
Alastor blinked once, then twice. “Why, it’s lovely, as per usual.”
Rosie smiled sweetly. “Good. Not too bitter?”
“Not at all.”
“And how’re the fingers, dear? They taste alright?”
“They’re simply delightful.”
“Is your chair nice and comfortable?”
“The comfiest.”
“You’re all relaxed?”
“I’ve never felt so at home.”
“Lucifer is in love with you.”
Alastor spat out the tea he’d been drinking, which was quickly followed by a round of coughing so harsh you would think he was actively dying.

Rosie finds it all quite amusing.

Summary
Alastor knew Vox had a weird obsession towards him, one he definitely did enjoy to a degree- exploiting it was a whole lot of fun. Pissing Vox off, throwing him off his game by calling him sweetheart. Hilarious.
What Alastor wasn’t aware of, though, was that Vox was still head over heels in love with him. Had been, this entire time, that crush never went away- And not only that, the King of Hell himself was falling for Alastor too.
All while Alastor thought he was simply pissing both men off by existing.

This is not going to end in Alastor reciprocating either of their feelings, so take those ship tags with a grain of salt. Simply a silly little fic about two men being desperately in love with an oblivious aroace cannibal who gets a kick out of emotionally torturing them- and EVERYONE at the hotel is aware of what's going on except Alastor.
Edited to add.... okay, maybe take them with less of a grain of salt. Something happened- idk what i get possessed while i write. Rest assured though that Alastor stays firmly aroace.
Also what am I supposed to rate this fic? Hazbin hotel is an 18+ show but rating this fic "mature" doesn't quite feel correct.
