Summary
New York Circa - 2008, Abolish is sent to scout out an illusive new vampire in town that may have ties to gangs in the area. However, he can't seem to catch more than a glimpse of his target and what he does see only leaves him more confused. His brain must be playing tricks on him, because he could swear he's seeing Pyro everywhere. But Pyro is dead. He's been dead for nearly 200 years now... Hasn't he?
Or
Abolish has always been a skilled hunter. Pyro is the one animal he let get away, and he can't tell if that decision or if the man himself is coming back to haunt him.

Abolish sighed. He could not change the past. But perhaps he could ensure a future less painful than the one that was surely waiting for Pyro outside the walls of this chamber. For himself or for others. Abolish carefully took the flower out of his breast pocket, taking care to not rumple or harm it. He gently set the rose on top of the stone lid, then backed away. He could not be certain that it had worked. Was a wither rose even viable for this method? It had thorns so it should, right? Either way the room settled back into its silence. In the middle of nowhere, by a ruined town, deep below an old castle, entombed in an ancient crypt, lay a treasured, lonely rose upon a coffin. Abolish was glad for his training. Glad this was an option he knew.
OR
Abolish remembered that placing a wild rose on a coffin with a vampire will trap it inside and uses it to save Pyro. Yay
