Summary
Thomas is a pianist who is an outcast wherever he goes because of his ability to see spirits, both good and bad, that normal people aren’t meant to see. He has already accepted his role in life as a perpetual loner and so, he moves to the countryside where he can wallow in self-pity for the rest of his life.
All his plans change, however, after meeting a certain demon called Newt, who decides to be his wingman and does everything he can in order to help Thomas charm the girl who works at the neighboring antique shop.
It’s supposed to be a classic romance novel where the main character moves to the countryside and falls for the local beauty (or at least, according to Newt)… But why is Thomas idiotically falling for his own wingman from the afterlife instead?
