    Summary

“What if I didn’t want to drink it with sugar?” Lumine says that, and yet still takes a sip from her cup.

Wanderer’s gaze remains on Lumine, and his face distorts as though he’d seen another bug—it reminds Paimon of his more insane days, and that’s why she keeps her mouth shut, despite how eerie he’s being. “But you like sugar,” Wanderer says, mouth twisted, a petulant edge to his voice. “You like sweet. Food, places, people—isn’t it better if they’re sweet?”

Paimon’s jaw drops open. Hot chocolate dribbles out from the corner of her mouth, sliding down her chin. The question feels like a trap. Is most definitely one, in fact, and even Paimon realizes that.

But Lumine, she doesn’t even blink. Instead, she puts down the coffee, smiling. Lumine is always so nonchalant in the face of Wanderer’s volatility. Paimon doesn’t know how she keeps herself so calm. “Sometimes,” Lumine says lightly, “I prefer bitter.”

or: how to tell when your traveller and wanderer are in love.

    Summary

Megumi thinks of the photo he found in Satoru's wallet while disgruntledly fishing through for the black card he’d asked him to fetch because he was too lazy to get it, the photo of himself and Tsumiki in their rental yukatas, peering down at a firefly cupped in her hands, faces bathed in warm light like Tsumiki was holding fire itself in her hands.

Collection of my Gojō-takes-care-of-the-Fushiguro-siblings propaganda. Canon compliant to the manga up to chapter 173. Everything after is, and will continue to be, fix-it.

Read order is generally the series order, but reading sea frame & eyries and scrapes alongside angel's egg is recommended.

    Summary

Hit by a quirk, Bakugou Katsuki wakes up twelve years in the past — in a house he recognizes, with a version of himself he barely remembers and a version of Izuku he never deserved.

What follows is not really a second chance, but something much harder than that.

A story about guilt, proximity, and the distance between who you were and who you're trying to become.

For the boy who tried to fix the past and the one who waited for him in the present.

"Nii-chan." Izuku's voice was soft with awe. "You saved me."

Katsuki's pulse roared in his ears and he held on a beat too long, because Katsuki knew, standing here with this child solid and warm against his chest, that those words were not true.

He hadn't saved him. Not really. Not in any way that counted.

This bright, reckless, stubborn kid was going to fall in ways that mattered, and Katsuki was going to be the one who let him. He had stood close enough to catch Izuku his whole life and chosen, again and again, to step back instead.

    Summary

As the age of heroes rises, so does the curses they bring with them. Nobody gives a thought to the last moments of the villains rotting in prison, or the civilians who couldn’t be saved. Nor do they think of who must deal with the downfall of these emotions.

That’s where U.A’s new class comes in. Using the Tokyo Jujutsu Tech’s students, U.A. has created the new 1-S class, a class hidden from the media, to introduce hero students to the consequences of their predecessors. Of course, that means they’ll have to deal with the hiring of a new teacher as well.

Not even heroes can escape the gaze of Gojo Satoru, after all.

[As mentioned in tags, there is spoilers for characters from the JJK Manga in this book.]

    Summary

“Satoru?” The word rings, fuzzy in his ears as it whines like tinnitus, familiar and heart stopping.

‘I’m dead.’ He can’t even hear his own thoughts over the loudness of the world, staggering where he stands, eyes still fixated on the sky, on the sun. ‘I’m dead, I died, I felt my heart stop, this can’t be, it can’t-’

“Hey,” it comes again, a little more urgent than before, a little closer, another hammer to his ears and all the noise shrieking behind his eyes. He recoils hard enough to go stumbling as a hand reaches for him, covered in flesh rather than empty bone, tan and recognizable. Unbelievable.

There’s something wet trickling from his nose. Bile stings on the back of his tongue. The words dissolve into the rest of the white noise as he stares up at the blue of the sky, and tries to remember if he’d ever had a hallucination as bright as this.

‘I have to be dead,’ he thinks. Somehow, he isn’t.

Or: Gojo Satoru goes back in time. He makes a couple of changes for the better.
