Peter swallowed hard, his hands trembling as they hovered near MJ’s waist. "I think my heart just skipped a beat. Is that bad, Nurse?"
MJ laughed, grabbing Peter's collar and pulling him toward the bedroom. "Good thing I’m specialized in your specific condition. Let's go, Tiger. You're overdue for a check-up."

Or, well, two, or maybe three if you count— the point is, a long time. I have tons of experience, and you won’t have to worry about embarrassing yourself since it’s just me. It’s perfect.”
Will’s brain crashes like an Atari unplugged mid-game. “Uh, what? What are you talking about?”
Lucas stops Will, pulling him off to the side to avoid the stream of sixth-period-bound students. He’s completely sincere. “Go out with me,” he says. Before Will’s jaw can make contact with the floor, Lucas amends, “I mean, not actually, but you can practice with me. I’ll show you what dating is like, and you can practice dating a guy."
Hawkins, senior year. When Will mentions how nervous he is about the prospect of dating, Lucas is quick to lend a hand. It's what any good friend would do, right?

Will flinched and turned to see that the boxer guy was standing a lot closer to him now, his right hand extended for a handshake.
He managed to compose himself enough to return the gesture and answer: “Will.”
Lucas’ hand was warm and calloused where it wrapped around his own. When he looked up, he found Lucas already watching him, a soft, warm smile tugging at his lips.Or: When a temporary relocation forces well-known figure skater Will to train at a new rink, the last thing he expects is to get more than he bargained for—especially in the form of a certain hockey player named Lucas.

I can do this, Peter thought. I mean, i’m literally Spider-Man!
The second the seniors and Felicia walked off, Peter marched forward. With a surge of confidence, he stepped into MJ’s personal space—which was already a myth between them—and slammed his hand against the kitchen cabinet right beside MJ’s head. He tried to loom over him, putting on his best "smoldering" face.
“Hey,” Peter said, dropping his voice an octave. It came out sounding like a low-budget Batman impression.
MJ bit his lip, but a sharp, melodic laugh escaped anyway. “Peter,” MJ chuckled, his voice a smooth contrast to the thumping music. “What are you doing?”
This was inspired by Jeremih’s song “Impatient” (I really recommend this song by the way, it’s so good!!) but I scrapped a whole lot, just know this takes place at a party.
