Yennefer took a deep breath, trying to calm the helpless panic that started to creep into her chest at the witcher's lack of care. She muted her voice to a near whisper, knowing full well that he would still be able to hear her, and called after him, in a final, desperate bid for his help:
“He was smuggling elves out of Redania!”
The witcher stopped abruptly.
She could see how his shoulders tensed, as he stood there, stock still at the end of the street. Nothing happened for a long moment.
And then, he turned his head, his eyes truly locking on hers for a second time. Only they were different now. Still gold and piercing, but serious. Without a trace of the previous contempt.
“Fuck.”
Yennefer is fruitlessly searching for Jaskier after he gets kidnapped in Oxenfurt.
Then, she runs into Lambert.

Summary
Lu Ten wasn't fast enough to save Zuko from this. He weighed too many options as he planned a desperate escape and by the time he tried to grab Zuko he was already gone. Instead he was forced to watch it all from beside his Dad, to hear screams, to hear the final ruling, and he demanded to be sent away on that ship as well. The next time? Well, he's learned his lesson, speed is key. Lu Ten won't fail his cousin again.
The next time leads them to the deck of a Southern Water Tribe ship and he somehow talks his way out of their certain death. He keeps his head low as they put him to work and tries to get Zuko to do the same. At least here, on the seas, they're alive. But for how long is that necessary? How long until the crews curiosity turns into care?

Summary
This is a series that deals with the question "What if Jaskier was a djinn?" - or half-djinn in this case. Geralt saves his life and now Jaskier owes the Witcher 3 wishes. Too bad that Geralt doesn't want anything from life.
And yes, I need three parts to get through all of it. The mountain alone... oh boy.
If you're looking for angst, lots of hurt and lots of comfort, then this is the right story for you!
