“—dying,” Perona wails as he makes it into the entryway. “Crap crap crap, what am I going to do—”
“I’m not dying!” Zoro shouts over her. “I’m j-just cold.” Zoro’s voice shakes as he shivers and turns purple around his ears. “Dammit—” He swats at one of Perona’s nervously hovering ghosts, “—ca-can’t you get one of those s-stupid things to get me a towel?”
Mihawk squints. “You’re wet, Roronoa.”
Or: Winter proves to be a challenge on Kuraigana. Zoro faces his toughest challenge yet: falling into an icy lake and getting forcibly taken care of by the goth fam.

Summary
Part 1
Every pirate knows the smell of the sea. The rich salty taste in the air associated with freedom, a way of life. Not for Trafalgar Law. At least, not anymore. Now when Law looked out into the ocean, he felt like he was drowning.
-
Nothing could prepare Law for what would happen if he survived when he didn't think he would.Part 2
A lot of the time being a pirate meant going with the flow. There was a sort of freedom from letting the currents of the ocean guide one wherever they needed to go. The ease with which one could get swept up into it all gave those a taste of all that they desired. So really, Roronoa Zoro should have suspected even his feelings would be a lot like treading water. Because apparently water was more than just alive, it had a heart.

Summary
Once in hundreds of generations, there would be a wielder of such a will and such a respect and love for their blade that a true partnership could be formed on a spiritual level. Should the owner of such a force of will fall, even their voice could live on, giving the sword a more sentient soul.
Mihawk had dreamed of becoming a partner with such a blade and having his voice live on but had never believed a sword such as that would present itself to him.
...And such an angry one at that.
