i love when fans bring their academic/professional knowledge into their fandoms, it's such an enriching conversation. i barely know anything about BPD, but it's super interesting to see which symptoms Eiden possibly manifests and i think the connection between his background, his actions in-game and the way he perceives himself was well explained. i don't think the initial shift from a world where he was left to fend for himself, to another world where he had to depend heavily on others and only could offer his help with his essence in exchange, was helping him at all in feeling any kind of stability. i think i've seen that fictional character diagnosis is a fairly usual psych assignment for students, so it's cool to see it about a character i like
