"Andy felt something in her stomach and realized that if she was going to see Emily alone, she needed a drink or two to be able to survive. But being completely realistic, there were big chances that she would be murdered by Emily. If not physically, she did have the ability to wield her words as a knife."

“You know, it’s really disrespectful when you come in here and speak to me even though I don’t want to speak to you. But it’s especially disrespectful when you can't even acknowledge what we had! We are not old friends, Galinda! We dated each other! We loved each other! And you can’t even bring yourself to say it. You should get home to your f-” Elphaba suddenly paused, a look of confusion taking over her features. Galinda watched silently as she gave her time to find words.
“What?” Galinda finally spoke.
“You’re marrying… a man?”
