Dick swung his legs off the top of the couch to sit right up and look at him. “I don't know Jay, we don't know him that well, he might not like it.” Jason shakes his hand in a dismissive way.

His eyes were heavy-lidded, their usual bright green looking dark as he watched Ichtacka from under his lashes, clearly coming down from his height, faces tear-soaked and flushed, parted lips kiss-swollen and bruised. Summary
As Ichtacka prepares for combating the Age of the Jaguar, two outsiders come to El Dorado claiming to be 'Gods'.
A rather inconvenient setback for the work he must do to protect his people, of course. However, ever so slowly, he learns that 'God Miguel' is quite like a Doradian species which entertains him so much, the Eclipse Conure.
With Ichtacka often being compared to a different Doradian Species, the Solar Harpy Hawk, could that be a sign that dear Miguel is destined to be the guard's prey, given Ichtacka can see right through this scam?
...Or will the guard be charmed by this delightfully curious 'inconvenience' that has entered his City?
As magic and true gods run about El Dorado, the arrival of the two Spaniards may well be the sign of a new age in a different way than expected.
