Chuuya turned his back to him once more, reaching for a loose hoodie. He jumped as cool fingers braced his hips. He wasn’t sure when the other had gotten so fast.
“Dazai.” He warned.
“Hear me out,” Dazai started. “As long as you have this new body, you should take it for a test run, right?”
Chuuya snorted. “And you want to be the tester?”

When the world and everyone in it has denied him Dazai’s learned to rely on his judgment and his judgment alone. Never flawed and never has it lead him astray. So when a plan by his own design results in Chuuya getting severely injured he can do nothing but blame himself.
To prevent himself from hurting the one person he grew to care about anymore than he already has he avoids the ginger like the plague, cutting him out of every aspect of his life for Chuuya’s own good. No matter how painful it felt to do so.
And Chuuya? Well he’ll be damned before he lets some smart ass mackerel dictate who he can and can’t spend his life with.
