Summary
After Aaron and Robert slept together on the 18th August Aaron knew there couldn't be a second time. He was married, he had commitments. But a few weeks after their affair he is in for the surprise of his life when he finds out he's pregnant.
Robert is in for the shock of his life when he finds out that Aarons pregnant. But before he can even process it John is pulling him and Aaron off the gorge. Afterwards he keeps away from Aaron out of fear that Aaron will get hurt again. But they slowly make their way back to one another

there’s something to be said for the morbid fascination humanity has with death. there’s something else to be said for the endorsement of a man’s ego when paired with a smile and pretty eyes. Aaron had never fallen foul of tricks like that. death was nothing to obsess over and ego was nothing but masked insecurity. but Aaron was fascinated by people.
Robert Sugden, Emmerdale's prodigal son, is also a serial killer. a serial killer who chose small-time independent journalist Aaron Dingle to tell his story to. but Aaron can see right through the bluster, and believes when he says he's innocent - what happens next is a series of events Aaron could never have expected.
