She’s not necessarily surprised to see Riven — it’s also his door she’s been pounding on after all — but it is unexpected to find him in only a pair of light gray sweatpants, rubbing a towel through his hair with one hand while pulling the door open with the other. He looks equally surprised to see her, at least.
“This isn’t even your Hall, Red Flag. Are you lost?”
She ignores the way a smug grin blossoms on his face as her eyes shamelessly glide over his body instead of answering. He’s hot, she’s inebriated, sue her.
Or: 5 times Musa sees Riven shirtless + 1 time it’s for the reason you’d expect.

It wasn’t that he’d never thought about it. Of course he fucking had. Musa was hot, and he had two functioning eyes, and he could tolerate talking to her for more than five minutes, which was more than he could say for almost every other idiot in the school.
But for the longest time, there had been Bea ensnaring most of his attentions, and Musa had been sickeningly love struck, walking hand in hand with Harvey Junior for months. At best, she was a mind fairy, way too complicated for him to deal with, and she didn’t put up with his shit anyway. Unavailable in all the ways that held his interest.
Then suddenly she was something broken into pieces at his feet and for fuck’s sake, if he didn’t feel a little too responsible for keeping that from happening again.
And now she was… Something.

He’s not expecting it the first time she does it. They hadn’t talked about it, Musa had never even hinted at the thought crossing her mind. It certainly hadn’t crossed his - later he would wonder why because it really does seem like something he would think about.
But he knew where he stood with her magic, that she would only take her limiters off for her required lessons - working on control - and then they would happily sit back around her wrists blocking out the noises of the world. He knew how much pain her powers caused her so he never pushed, never questioned her about them. And that’s probably the reason he never let his mind wander to the wondrous potential they had.
His hands grip her hips and he rolls his body slightly.
“Trying to make me beg?”
She lets out a small laugh, “I wouldn’t mind that actually.”
