"Of course she remembered getting her list, general info about her species and shit like that made up the first few pages. Grey wolf, part of one of thirteen existent genera of the canid family and other stuff she already knew, or may not have known, continued to go on for a while before she stumbled across the page she was looking for.
The thing everyone wanted to know when they first were handed the small paperback booklet from their parents. Scrawled neatly at the top in bold red font were the words, ‘Animal Instincts’. Flipping to the first page of the section revealed a list of ‘instincts’ that were not considered socially acceptable. Among a list of about thirty dos and don'ts that she had naturally memorized over the next couple of years, three stood out to her the most."
Or, a (sort of) rewrite of the series if all the characters were animals.

High above the clouds, stood a single iterator. He was collapsing, he'd know that for many cycles. His friends refused to help him and soon, there'll be nothing to remember him by. But Lonely Cloud hasn't given up just yet. He summoned one of his overseers and gave it a mission. The creature quickly warped away to fulfill its given goal. Lonely Cloud hoped this decision could save him.
With the threat of destruction hanging over his shoulder, Lonely Cloud calls on an unlikely creature for help. Meanwhile, on the surface, an imbalance in the natural ecosystem is causing major changes in the many regions around the iterator. Rogue slugcats and a crazy fire bender on the loose, Shadow knows something is going on, but what?

Can the group of ragtag heroes (they weren't heroes, just fractured souls pretending to be something) get to the bottom of this mystery before it's too late?
