Summary
They were both supposed to die. With how closely their souls were linked, it should have been inevitable. And yet, with one last exchange, only one of them went to the after. Well, that won't do. Souls bound together that tightly are destined to live, die, and reincarnate together. To try to separate them would cause them both to be torn between life and death. There's only one option then:
