You look back to Agatha.
Her eyes are beautiful, so blue you could get lost in them. They're gleaming, twinkling, like ships on waters so inviting, you almost jump in.
You take a moment to think but all of your thoughts dissipate as you study the sharp lines of her jaw and the slope of her nose. You're distracted by her, another phenomenon you've noticed recently, and when your eyes reach her lips you can't help but wonder if they're as soft as they look.
You have to look down when your face burns; you don't like this, you don't like that lately you've had to anticipate your face in a red flush every time you lose yourself to her in an adoration nobody else seems to notice.

No, the fruits had been ripped off clean with the green hood still attached like only a human would. Which was odd - because there was no other house for miles, only prairie and forest and the old stream that contently rippled along all day in and out.
