Summary
Jack is used to his girlfriend waking up flinching and on high alert after a nightmare and knows the reason: her ex and stalker.
After having been with her for some time now, he knows how to help her regain her feeting rather well by now, and thankfully, Dylan already made sure that the guy is long gone, so he could always remind her of that through reassurance, but what happens when old monsters come back to haunt our present in sick reminisce of the past?
Or:
Lula's past tries to claim a hold of her once more, but the Horsemen would never allow anything to harm one of their own, not if they can help it.

Summary
“You look like hell,” he rasped, voice almost gone at this point.
“You should see the other guy,” Eddie quipped back just as quickly and Buck laughed—he laughed because it was that easy to fall apart in front of Eddie because it was that easy for Eddie to find him and cradle him and make him laugh.
“I am the other guy,” he shot back, wanting to hear Eddie’s voice. He wanted to tell Eddie to keep speaking because if Eddie stopped and Buck closed his eyes then he would be back in that goddamn house, behind the bars and—
“I know,” Eddie said in a softer voice than before and if Buck’s eyes were open, he would be able to see just how deep that gentleness—that softness ran…maybe in the tips of his fingers that were still firmly pressed against Buck’s pulse or the warmth of his hand that was still cradling Buck’s head or his eyes that had mellowed into something affectionate despite the sharp heat of the dessert.
He didn’t see any of that but the voice was enough to make him feel like all his walls were crumbling. Eddie was really here.
OR They always find their way back to each other no matter what.

Summary
"Buck sat in a cold plastic chair with his knee bouncing, and sipping a lukewarm coffee he’d gotten from the shop across the street who definitely didn’t give him the almond milk he’d requested. The hum of dental equipment droned faintly behind double doors, and every so often Buck caught himself smiling like a fool when he thought about Eddie and the fact that he was even here..."
Or, Buck takes Eddie home after having his wisdom teeth removed. Too bad Eddie is clingy when he's high...
