Summary
Now that Noelle knows properly about the dark worlds in Hometown, she has been slowly connecting all of dots and coming to the conclusion that all of the mysteries in this town are tied to the dark worlds in some way, especially the disappearance of her sister Dess.
She finds herself now a part of the Fun Gang, just hanging out with them as they try to uncover all of the mysteries, while also dealing with the fact that Kris was one of the largest mysteries at hand, and their interference was slowing down their progress. Costing time that Noelle isn't sure Hometown has.
My interpretation of Chapter 4 if Noelle had joined the Fun Gang in Chapter 3.
