Human lesbian AU: the gang are super powered kids who lived together in the woods of a backwater small town when they weren't saving the world... At least they used to.
Dr. Robotnik had been captured and imprisoned by GUN and the gang was convinced by GUN and thier associates to actually get a complete education and proper training since their powers are growing stronger the older they get. GUN can no longer moderate at a distance so offered a deal to benefit them all. Will they keep their word?
Also all of them are lesbians. Why? Why tf not. Nothing really changes all that much. Knuckles and Sonic are very butch (they use any pronouns but default on she/her), Shadow is genderfluid-masc, Tails is just a kid but has a tomboy vibe, Amy is a femme lesbian, and Rouge is high femme.
